Portland Transitional

Our Portland clients were ready to fun-size their traditional home, having last updated their home in the early 2000s. We partnered with them to unearth their story and create a concept and palette for their home. Approaching retirement, the clients had a rich heritage of education and learning, love of family, and global travels. While this had not been previously expressed in their home, we consulted with them to unearth unique, vintage objects and art to create a collected, layered home. Every piece we incorporated told a story and, collectively, helped to express their life story. We selected a neutral, textured color palette and custom furniture that offset existing dark woodwork and a camel-colored sofa. Custom furniture was designed to support their needs as they look to age-in-place in their newly designed home.
