Dandelion at Dusk Represents Savoring the Moment

With the daily crush of social media, we live in a world of never-ending comparison and competition that compels us to carelessly consume and discard the latest trends. As a result, our homes are a hodge-podge of micro-fads that more accurately reflect what is trending on social media than what resounds with the core of who we are. We buy cheap furniture that decomposes quickly and is carelessly tossed by the wayside, leaving millions of tons of waste to accumulate in landfills. We transfer wealth from local artisans to foreign nations whose disregard for human and environmental conditions allows your products to be manufactured at an artificially low price. We teach our children to expect excess, live wastefully, and demand instant gratification. We fear inviting friends into our homes with unrealistic expectations of cleanliness and orderliness. We prioritize our money and time on temporary fixes to deep longings within our soul.

Life doesn’t have to be that way. I started ASHLEY RAJAGOPAL HOME because I believe in authentic home design. My desire is to partner with you to reset your relationship with your homes. No matter what stage of life you are in, I partner with you to help you design a space that:

(1) is personal, reflecting your own unique life story and enduring beyond the latest trends,

(2) offers peace and harmony as you escape from the hustle and bustle,

(3) allows for intimacy and connectedness with friends and family, and

(4) considers both impact and honor the world around you.

In other words, my hope is that we can design a space that allows you to live authentically.
